CCSO seeking fugitive for questioning in double-murder

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to locate a wanted fugitive who is also sought as a person of interest in Saturday’s double-homicide on Peach Street.

Major Jason Newby says 31-year-old Anthony Gaines is wanted for first-degree wanton endangerment, theft and failure to appear in court. 

He’s also sought for questioning for the shooting deaths of Kierra Wallace and George Gomez. 

While Gaines isn’t wanted for the murders, Maj. Newby says he should be considered armed and dangerous.
