Full Count clinched the OVL South Division title and home field advantage in the first two rounds of the OVL Playoffs following an 8-3 victory over the Hoptown Hoppers last night. In a losing effort, the Hoppers were held to just five hits and committed four errors. The Hoppers are now 20-19 and play at Franklin tonight.
Last night in the OVL: Dubois County edged Madisonville 6-5 and Henderson blanked Muhlenberg County 10-0 in 7 innings. Henderson holds a half-game lead on Dubois County in the OVL North race. Elsewhere: Owensboro routed Paducah 17-6 in 7 innings and Franklin defeated Fulton 6-4.
Tonight in the OVL: Fulton welcomes Dubois County, Muhlenberg County entertains Henderson, Paducah hosts Owensboro and Full Count visits Madisonville.
