Grand jury returns indictments for assault

A Christian County Grand Jury returned multiple indictments Friday, including several for assault.

Indicted for second-degree assault, felony theft by unlawful taking, theft of a firearm, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and terroristic threatening is 30-year old Henry Pratt of Hopkinsville.  He is alleged to have intentionally caused physical injury to a female victim in April using a handgun by striking her repeatedly in the face and head, only stopping when an infant started crying—he reportedly threatened to kill the victim and then stole her vehicle.  The victim had noticeable injuries to her face and head.

 

 

Indicted for second-degree assault is 31-year old Landon Foster of Crofton, who allegedly struck a female victim with a baseball bat in May, causing serious. Foster also had minor injuries from the incident and was treated and released at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.

 

 

 

An indictment for first-degree strangulation, fourth-degree assault and intimidating a participant in the legal process was returned against 56-year old Michelle Mixon of Texas.  She is alleged to have caused intentional injuries to a female victim, who reportedly had visible injuries to her face, arm and around her neck.
