Two hurt in Madisonville two-vehicle crash

Two people were injured in a Madisonville two-vehicle collision Tuesday afternoon.

According to a news release from the Madisonville Police Department, a vehicle driven by a 17-year old driver was stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of Suthard Drive and Princeton Road.  Witnesses stated the vehicle pulled out in front of a vehicle driven by 59-year old Roddy Earl of Dawson Springs that was traveling straight through the intersection.

The two collided in the intersection.  Neither driver was injured in the collision, but a 10-year old passenger in the teenager’s vehicle was taken by private vehicle to a local hospital for treatment of possible injuries.  A passenger in Earl’s vehicle, 52-year old Anita Earl, was taken to Deaconess Hospital for treatment of injuries.
