There’s a chance of rain for nearly every day this week, with the National Weather Service saying some localized flooding could be possible.
Rick Shanklin with the National Weather Service says thanks to a ‘soupy’ atmosphere people can expect chances of rain all week, and any pop up thunderstorms could drop localized heavy amounts of rainfall at times.
He says an outbreak of severe weather is not expected at this time for the week.
In the 8 to 14 day forecast, he says near average temperatures are expected along with fairly normal rainfall amounts.
Shanklin says all area rivers are in good shape, below flood stage levels.
