HPD arrests woman on burglary charge

Hopkinsville police arrested a woman Tuesday night at a Canton Street home on a burglary charge. An arrest citation for 47-year old April McGhee of Hopkinsville says she entered a home in the 2700 block of Canton Street without permission and assaulted a 29-year old woman inside. Sumner records hole in one for Lindsey Wilson at NAIA Nationals

Reds squeeze out 2-1 over Nats Tuesday

The Cincinnati Reds held off a ninth-inning rally by the Washington Nationals to escape with a 2-1 victory in D.C. Reds hitters had a tough time against Nationals' ace Max Scherzer but managed to get two runs thanks to solo homers from Kyle Farmer and Eugenio Suarez.
