Softball: University Heights was routed by Caldwell County 20-0 in three innings. The Lady Blazers had no hits, but Amariya Bass reached on a walk and Krista Keller reached on a two base error, however she was thrown out at third for the final out of the game. Mallory Ladd suffered the pitching loss for UHA, now 5-10. Caldwell County improved to 11-13.
Baseball: Hopkinsville suffered an 8-6 loss at Marshall County Tuesday. The Tigers led 5-3 going to the bottom of the fifth when the Marshals scored five times to take the lead and win. Hopkinsville had seven hits with Kaden West going 2-3. Jacob Dilday was the losing pitcher as the Tigers fell to 17-9.
McCracken County scored 10 times in the seventh inning in downing Christian County 16-1. Elijah Underhill had a home run for one of the three Colonel hits, with Preston Phan suffering the pitching loss. The Colonels are now 7-17.
Seth Hancock went 2-4 as University Heights lost to Hickman County 9-3. Eston Glover took the pitching loss for the Blazers now 11-20 on the season.
