Philadelphia Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto is dealing with a broken thumb. It happened while blocking a pitch last week, but an MRI is just now revealing a small fracture. Realmuto will be immobilized for two weeks, but the two-time All-Star says he’s not concerned and expects to be ready for Opening Day. The 29-year-old signed a five-year, 115.5-million-dollar contract with Philadelphia this offseason.
