Charles Bassey had 16 points and 12 rebounds with Tavieon Hollingsworth and Carson Williams each adding 15 points as Western Kentucky took the first of a two game series from Middle Tennessee 82-67 in Murfreesboro. In Bowling Green, WKU’s Lady Toppers fell for the second straight night to Middle Tennessee 77-60. The Lady Toppers are now 3-9 overall and 2-4 in Conference USA and open a two game CUSA series at Old Dominion Friday night.
