Area teams ranked in AP weekly polls

Hopkinsville is in a 10th place tie in the Associated Press Class 4-A rankings this week. Johnson Central is number one.

Christian County’s opponent this week, Bowling Green, is fourth in the Class 5-A poll while future opponent South Warren is second. Covington Catholic is number one.

McCracken County is seventh in Class 6A this week, Crittenden County is sixth in the Class A poll, Mayfield is second and Caldwell County 10th in the Class 2A poll and Paducah Tilghman is 10th in the Class 3A poll.
