CCHD reports 32 new COVID-19 cases

Christian County gained 32 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 from Wednesday to Thursday.

That’s according to the Christian County Health Department, which reports that the total in the county is at 1,525—of that 229 cases are considered active and 1,270 people have recovered from the virus.

Broken down into age groups, there are 40 in the pediatric age group, 102 in the young adult to middle aged grouping, 66 in the older adult category and 21 in the elderly age group.

Christian County has had 26 COVID-19 related deaths.
