Christian County gained another 12 confirmed cases of COVID-19 from Wednesday to Thursday.
That’s according to the Christian County Health Department, which reports those new cases officially puts the overall total in the county over 1,000 at 1,007—of that, only 235 of cases are considered active and 758 people have recovered from the virus.
Breaking it down into age groups there are 48 active cases in the pediatric age group, 120 are in the young adult to middle aged grouping, 48 in the older adult category and 19 in the elderly age group.
Christian County has had 14 COVID-19 related deaths.
