CCHD reports 29 new confirmed COVID-19 cases

Christian County gained 29 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 from Monday to Tuesday.

That’s according to the Christian County Health Department, which reports that those 29 new cases puts the overall total in the county at 980—of that, 243 are considered active and 723 people have recovered from the virus.  Christian County has had 14 COVID-19 related deaths.

Breaking it down into age groups, there are 58 active cases in the pediatric age group, 126 in the young adult to middle aged grouping, 42 in the older adult category and 17 in the elderly age group.
