Updated: Driver, truck in fatal hit and run located

An arrest has been made for the fatal hit and run collision Wednesday morning on Madisonville Road in Crofton.

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office has charged 58-year old Alan Barnett with leaving the scene of an accident that results in serious injury or death, which is a felony in Kentucky.

Barnett had been headed north in the 13000 block of Madisonville Road about 5:40 Wednesday morning when he struck a bicycle ridden by 20-year old Jared Yoder of Crofton.

Yoder was pronounced dead at the scene and Barnett kept driving.
