Hopkins County has a 34th death from COVID-19.

The Hopkins County Health Department announced the latest fatality during its Monday morning update.

There have been 268 total cases since the pandemic began and 197 of those patients have recovered.

Seventy-four of those cases have been in long-term care facilities.
