Man flown to Vandy hospital after Boulevard accident

A man was flown to a Nashville hospital following a single-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon on Fort Campbell Boulevard.

The report from Hopkinsville police says 31-year old Andrew Aldridge of Portland, Tennessee was in a parking lot at 2475 Fort Campbell Boulevard near Wendy’s about 5:10 p.m.

Aldridge told police he believes he blacked out and went over a curb and struck an embankment.

EMS transported Aldridge to the helipad at Jennie Stuart Medical Center, where Air Evac then flew him to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
