Fiscal court hears COVID-19 update, Hopkinsville could host temporary regional jail

Christian Fiscal Court met under unusual circumstances Tuesday morning and heard an update on the local response to COVID-19. Six sent to hospital following East Ninth Street crash

A wreck on East Ninth Street sent six people to Jennie Stuart Medical Center Monday afternoon. The Christian County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a fire that destroyed a pickup and camper trailer as arson. Four people were arrested on methamphetamine trafficking charges following a traffic stop by state police over the weekend in Hopkins County. Marshall County’s Harmon to announce college choice today

photo credit: The Slam Marshall County's Zion Harmon is expected to announce his college commitment today, There are five schools that are finalists: Kansas, Maryland, Murray State, Seton Hall and Western Kentucky. WKU Insider.com is reporting that Western Kentucky is the leading candidate to get Harmon. Harmon-who is currently in the Class of 2021-has discussed the possibility of reclassifying into the Class of 2020.
