Man injured after car hits tree

A man was injured in a single-vehicle accident Sunday night on Old Madisonville Road.

A collision report from the Christian County Sheriff’s Department says 39-year old Demarrio Green of Hopkinsville was northbound on near J. Knight Road when he said he swerved to miss a deer and went off the left side of the road.

The car struck a tree and Green was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for arm pain and difficulty breathing.
