Two injured in head-on collision in Logan County

A head-on collision Monday afternoon near Lewisburg in Logan County sent both drivers to the hospital.

The Logan County Sheriff’s Department investigated and determined 73-year old Barbara Cain of Lewisburg was northbound on US 431 at Smith Hill when she crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a car driven by 46-year old Gregory Richardson of Edmonton.

Richardson was flown by Air Evac to an area hospital and Cain was taken by EMS to a local hospital for treatment.
