Christian County Public Schools operated on a normal schedule Monday after a few buildings sustained storm damage Saturday.

Chief Operations Officer Brad Hawkins says there was some minor roof damage to Christian County High School and to a couple ball fields on the campus.

The maintenance department building that adjoins with the bus garage at North Drive and Glass Avenue took the worst hit, according to Hawkins.

He credited school system staff who worked through the weekend get all buildings in good enough shape to open Monday morning.

There was no damage at Hopkinsville High School, according to Hawkins.
