An Oak Grove woman was injured Friday morning in an accident in a parking lot on Fort Campbell Boulevard.
Hopkinsville police investigated the crash and determined 33-year old Anita Haynes of Oak Grove was attempting to cross an intersection in a parking lot in the 4000 block and collided with a northbound vehicle driven by 48-year old Marcia Key of Russellville.
Haynes told police she saw Key’s vehicle, but didn’t realize how close she was until it was too late to avoid a collision, according to the report.
One of Haynes’ passengers, 25-year old Kyra Walker of Oak Grove, was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for evaluation. No one else was injured.
