Kentucky State Police arrested a Sharon Grove woman Sunday afternoon on methamphetamine and endangering the welfare of a minor charges.
Trooper Justin Cornett stopped 28-year old Tiffany Simmons of Sharon Grove for driving carelessly on Mt. Sharon Road, according to a news release.
A computer check showed Simmons was wanted on warrants for probation violation and for failing to appear in court.
Further investigation determined Simmons to be under the influence and a search of her vehicle allegedly revealed a bag of methamphetamine that was located near a nine-year old passenger.
Simmons was arrested and charged with her second DUI, possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, endangering the welfare of a minor, careless driving and other violations.
