Fire damages Everetts Lane home

Fire caused heavy damage to a home on Everetts Lane Tuesday afternoon.

Firefighters responded to 650 Everetts about 12:15 p.m. and found heavy smoke coming from the structure. The occupants were able to get out safely and no one was injured.

A firefighter on scene said crews were unsure where exactly the blaze originated. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Crews from the Gracey, Square Deal and West Side volunteer fire departments responded.
