A Wind Advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. for all of Western Kentucky.
Sustained southwest winds will be about 20 mph during the afternoon hours and there could be gusts of 35-to-45 mph.
Unsecured objects could be tossed around outdoors. Trees with weakened root systems may be more prone to being uprooted given the wet soil conditions. Also, drivers of high profile vehicles may encounter difficulty driving especially on east-west roadways.
