City councilman arrested on failure to appear warrant

Hopkinsville City Councilman Darvin Adams was arrested Wednesday night on a Jefferson County warrant for failing to appear in court.

The 43-year old Adams allegedly failed to appear to face a flagrant non-support charge, according to the warrant that was signed September 27th, 2016 by Jefferson District Judge Jennifer Wilcox.

Adams was arrested by Kentucky State Police and released on a $1,000 bond. Councilman Adams was elected to his first term in November.
