An accident involving a car and a backhoe on Coal Creek Road in north Christian County Thursday injured a passenger in the car.
It happened just south of Linville Road and Christian County Sheriff’s Sgt. Adam Vanderkolk gave details on the incident.
The car was driven by David Cusick, Jr. and his wife—47-year old Anita Cusick of Hopkinsville—to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the backhoe was not hurt.
Sgt. Vanderkolk says the crew was clearing debris out of ditches in the area.
