Two arrested at Colonial Motel for meth possession

An investigation Friday morning at the Colonial Motel led to the arrests of two people on methamphetamine charges.

Hopkinsville Police received a noise complaint at Room 6 in the motel on North Main Street and heard two people inside arguing. A report says 38-year old Richard Rascoe of Hopkinsville answered the door and that there was a syringe inside the room in plain sight.

Police found a baggie of meth near the syringe and another baggie of meth was found on the floor.

Both occupants of the room—Rascoe and 37-year old Tracey Johnson of Hopkinsville—were arrested and charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.
