Todd County swears in elected officials

Elected officials in Todd County took their oath of office Wednesday during a ceremony led by Circuit Judge Tyler Gill at the Todd County Courthouse.

New Todd County Attorney Jeff Traughber was among those on hand, though he’d already been administered the oath, and says he’s excited for the transition.

He says he hopes to improve cooperation between the county and its three incorporated cities.

Traughber says Ken Dillingham will serve as his assistant county attorney and retired county attorney Mac Johns will serve as Master Commissioner—a position Dillingham had to vacate to assume his new role.

Todd County Clerk Leslie Cunningham and Jailer Jeff Penick were among the new county officials sworn in. Judge-Executive Todd Mansfield was sworn in for his first full term.
