Two charged with robbery after Saturday incident

Two 18-year old Hopkinsville residents were arrested for first-degree robbery Saturday morning.

The pair of cousins, 18-year old Jaylynn Cheatham and 18-year old Trevarius Daniel, approached a woman standing outside on Brown Street, where Cheatham allegedly brandished a handgun and asked her if she had anything for them.

The report says when the woman showed them she had empty pockets the two men left the area and went back into a home down the street.

Daniel and Cheatham were arrested less than an hour later and lodged in the Christian County Jail.
