MLB: Reds and Cardinals wrap up seasons

Pablo Reyes scored the game-winning run on a wild pitch in the top of the 10th to give the Pittsburgh Pirates a 6-5 win over the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park. The Reds completed a fifth consecutive season under .500 at 67-and-95.

Elsewhere in the National League: The St. Louis Cardinals season is over following a 10-5 loss to the Chicago Cubs. St. Louis finished with a 88-74 record and dropped five of their last six games missing the postseason for a third straight year. The Cubs will host the Milwaukee Brewers today to decide the NL Central title.

The Atlanta Braves managed just four hits in a 3-1 loss to the Philadelphia Phillies in the regular season finale in Philadelphia. The Braves now gear up for the National League Division Series, but they still don’t know where they’re headed.

The Los Angeles Dodgers and Colorado Rockies meet today in Los Angeles to decide the NL West champ. The Braves will start the NLDS Thursday against the winner.
