A Christian County Grand Jury returned indictments for fourth-degree assault and trafficking in synthetic drugs Friday.
Indicted for fourth-degree assault and fleeing or evading police is 28-year old Stevie Bacon of Hopkinsville. He allegedly broke into a home on Faulkner Street in June and assaulted a female victim inside by punching her in the face multiple times. He reportedly fled the home and was located on Cypress Street and was taken into custody following a brief foot pursuit.

Three people were indicted on charges of trafficking in synthetic drugs—24-year old Jaleel Lee of Murray, 24-year old Bradley Higgins of Murray and 34-year old Deandre Ash of Almo. According to the arrest citation, a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle driven by Lee for a traffic violation and a K9 alerted onto the vehicle. The other two were passengers in the vehicle.
A search allegedly revealed a large amount of synthetic drugs. Lee is also facing the traffic violation charges and Higgins with not maintaining insurance on the vehicle.
