The headline act for this year’s Hoptown Holiday HopFest in November will be the Grammy award-winning musical group the SteelDrivers.
The announcement was made Tuesday afternoon via the Alhambra Theatre’s Facebook page with Pennyroyal Arts Council Director Margaret Prim and Terry Griffin with Budweiser of Hopkinsville. Prim says the group has a unique bluegrass sound and tickets are available for purchase now.
Tickets are $40 and can be found online through the SteelDrivers at Hoptown Hopfest Facebook event page. Prim says the renovations will be complete before November 24, which is the day of the festival, and she encourages everyone to come see the final products, saying there will be food trucks and fun events.
