Man served with felony theft warrant

A warrant for felony theft was served Wednesday against a Hopkinsville man.

It alleges that in November of last year, 54-year old Michael Eddy indorsed a check for $4,300 at Planters Bank and he claimed he had won a contest.

The check was ultimately returned as not having sufficient funds.

Eddy is charged with theft by failure to make required disposition of property.
