UPDATED: Two shot at party Saturday morning

Additional details have been released on a shooting incident from early Saturday morning at a party on Richard Street.

Hopkinsville Police received a call of shots fired at the Jaycees building just before 12:30 a.m. and officers were flagged down by occupants of a vehicle with its flashers on who had one of the victims inside.

That person was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center and the other victim went to the emergency room by private vehicle.

They are identified on the assault report as 19-year old Dekoryon Daniels of Hopkinsville and 19-year old Dedrian Clemdening. One victim was treated at Jennie Stuart and the other was transferred to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, according to Lt. Seth Meek, who described their injuries as non-life-threatening in nature.

The report says investigation determined both were struck with .40 caliber bullets fired by two unknown suspects during an argument.
