Before last night’s All Star Game in Washington, DC, Commissioner Rob Manfred spoke on a number of topics including expansion. Several cities, including Nashville, were mentioned as potential cities. Nashville media received a statement from Nashville mayor David Briley last night on the topic. He said it was flattering to be mentioned as a potential expansion city, but his big concern right now was getting a Major League Soccer stadium constructed.
