While hosting Kentucky Sports Radio today, UK head coach Mark Stoops talked for the first time about the recent arrest of former player Marcus Walker.
Stoops said what happened was “hurtful” and added “It hurts our program and I’m disappointed that it happened. “And I’m going to work as I’ve always worked to put our players in position to be successful.”
Walker was dismissed from the team last month after police found more than $95,000 and 52 grams of cocaine inside the safety’s apartment near campus.
