The final two players to be placed on the Hoptown Hoppers roster before the OVL season begins were announced Tuesday. Coach Brock Moss says right hand pitcher Kyle Turner of Griffin, GA comes to Hopkinsville from Young Harris College:
The second player is the second to return to the Hoppers from last season as Aiden Elias is a Lexington native and plays at Western Kentucky University:
The Hoppers are scheduled to open the regular season tomorrow night at Fulton, with the home opener against Madisonville Saturday night at 7:05 at Colonel Field with pregame at 6:45 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP and online at whopam.com.
The Hoppers are scheduled to host “Meet the Hoppers” event this evening at Debow Park Pavilion from 5:30-7pm. Everyone is invited to come out and meet the players and coaches.
