The Winnipeg Jets beat the Nashville Predators 4-1 in Game One of the Western Conference semifinal in a matchup of the league’s two best teams – the first series ever before a conference finals between clubs with the most combined points.
The Jets were outshot 48-19, but Connor Hellebuyck came away with 47 saves, while Mark Scheifele scored twice to help Winnipeg steal home-ice advantage. Game Two is tomorrow night at 6 pm in Bridgestone Arena.
