Reed wins Masters

Patrick Reed is the champion at the 2018 Masters Tournament. Captain America, as he was known in the 2016 Ryder Cup, fired a final-round 71 to finish at 15-under for the weekend and take home the green jacket. It is his first major championship.

Rickie Fowler made a late charge but came up short and finished in second at 14-under.

Jordan Spieth carded a Sunday-low 64 and ended in third at minus-13, two-strokes ahead of fourth-place finisher Jon Rahm.
Rory McIlroy, Bubba Watson, Cameron Smith, and Henrik Stenson finished tied for fifth. Kentuckian Justin Thomas finished at four under and tied for 17th.

Tiger Woods capped his return to Augusta with a final-round 69 and ended up tied in 32nd place at one-over par for the tournament.
