Drakesboro man arrested after pursuit

A vehicle pursuit that went off road in Muhlenberg County Friday ended with an arrest.

State Trooper Curtis Crick attempted to stop a car driven by 23-year old Jeremy Gidcumb of Drakesboro for not using a turn signal and a news release says Gidcumb continued making several turns before eventually taking an ATV trail near Gregory Lake.

The vehicle became disabled and Gidcumb fled on foot, but was soon arrested and charged with DUI, fleeing or evading police, wanton endangerment and several other counts related to the pursuit.
