Work by the Hopkinsville Surface and Stormwater Utility will necessitate a street closure for several days.
Latham Avenue at its intersection with South Main Street will be closed each weekday from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. from Thursday until Wednesday. A news release says a detour around the construction site will be clearly marked for drivers on Latham Avenue, Mooreland Drive, Alumni Avenue and South Main Street.
South Main Street will remain open to traffic and residents of Latham Avenue will have access to their driveways at all times during the closure.
