Girls: Christian County defeated Hopkinsville 57-44 in 8th district action at Tiger Gym. Trinitee Jackson led the Lady Colonels with 22 points while Aaliyah Hampton added 11 and Laderia Gold had 10 points for Christian County, now 15-4 overall and 3-0 in district play. Hopkinsville got 14 points from London Foster and Bre Oldham added 10 as the Lady Tigers fell to 14-7 and 3-1 in 8th district action.
Elsewhere: Christian Fellowship defeated Fort Campbell 38-21, Franklin Simpson edged Ohio County 46-44, Dawson Springs eased by Community Christian 58-54 and South Warren dumped Owensboro Catholic 71-52.
Boys: KyKy Tandy had 20 points and Drew McGowan added 11, but University Heights was routed by Lexington Christian 68-47 in the opening round of the Boys All A State Tournament in Richmond. The Blazers fell to 13-5 with the loss.
