A Republican has filed to seek the position of Christian County Fiscal Court Magistrate in the third district, according to an update from the Christian County Clerk’s Office.
Robert Webb currently serves as Christian County Constable in the third district, the Operations Manager for Trace Industries and Minister at Little River Church of Christ. Webb made an unsuccessful bid for Magistrate in 2010. If elected, he wants to keep working with the City of Hopkinsville and improve communication with the public, through newsletter and social media, according to a news release.
Incumbent Democrat Magistrate Mark Cansler has filed his papers to seek reelection. **
