A Christian County Grand Jury issued indictments for wanton endangerment and drug trafficking crimes on Friday.  Thirty-one-year-old Jayontez Poindexter of Hopkinsville was indicted for multiple charges after he reportedly assaulted a woman and pointed a handgun at her on December 3, 2025. Twenty-year-old Keandre Jones of Hopkinsville was indicted for first-degree wanton endangerment and tampering with physical evidence after he reportedly pointed a firearm at a victim on September 13.
