Additional details have been released on a wreck involving a tractor-trailer early Thursday morning on I-24.
Christian County Sheriff’s Sgt. Jeff Goulet says the driver of a tractor-trailer was eastbound near the 78 mile-marker of I-24 about 4:45 a.m. when he said he swerved to miss a deer in the road.
His load of 40,000 pounds of copy paper shifted when he went off the shoulder, causing his semi to overturn onto its left side.
The driver, whose name has not been released, received treatment for minor injuries.
It took several hours to clear the scene before the eastbound lanes reopened at about 11:30 a.m.
