One injured in Madisonville head-on collision

A head on collision Saturday morning in Madisonville left one person injured and two others in jail.

It happened a few minutes before noon and Madisonville Police say 34-year old Tasha Reed of Nebo was northbound on Island Ford Road near Chelsa Drive when she crossed the center line and struck a stopped vehicle operated by 58-year old Samuel Williams of Indiana, causing his pickup to roll back into an SUV driven by 39-year old Brandon Pleasant of Madisonville.

Williams’ passenger, 58-year old Sara Grayson of Hanson, was taken by ambulance to Baptist Health Hospital for treatment of injuries.

Reed and her passenger, 33-year old Christopher Boyd of Madisonville, were arrested for charges unrelated to the crash, according to a news release.
