A single vehicle crash at the intersection of Glass Lane and Cox Mill Road sent a motorcyclist to a Nashville hospital Tuesday afternoon.
It happened at approximately 2:40 p.m. in the 5500 block of Cox Mill, and Christian County Sheriff’s Department Public Information Officer John Godsey told WHOP News at the scene that the motorcyclist had been travelling northbound on Cox Mill when he failed to navigate a curve in the road, going down into a ditch and wrecking out.
The male patient was being flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for treatment of injuries to his leg and possibly broken bones.
The roadway was closed for sometime as a helicopter landed on Cox Mill Road to transport the patient, who has not yet been named.
