Man injured in Lyon County rollover crash

A Marion man was injured in a single-vehicle, rollover crash in Eddyville last week.

According to a news release from the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded to KY 295 near JC Garner Road for reports of a rollover crash around 12:20 p.m. Investigation determined that 92-year-old Harrison Brewer of Marion was heading northbound on KY 295 when he experienced a medical event.

His vehicle left the roadway and struck a ditch and an embankment, causing the vehicle to overturn multiple times before coming to a stop on its side.

Harrison had to be extricated from his vehicle and was transported to Mercy Health Hospital in Paducah for his injuries.
