Rory McIlroy at 25 under par was a one shot winner over Collin Morikawa at the PGA Tour’s CJ Cup in Las Vegas. The win was the 20th for McIlroy in his PGA Tour career. Rickie Fowler and Keith Mitchell tied for third at 22 under. Louisville area native Justin Thomas finished tied for 18th at 18 under par.
Lee Janzen birdied the first playoff hole and defeated Miguel Angel Jimenez at the PGA Tour Champions SAS Championship in Cary, NC. Both golfers finished regulation at 12 under par. Jim Furyk and Alex Cejka tied for third at 11 under. Franklin’s Kenny Perry finished tied for 39th at one under.
