A Hokpinsville man was injured in a hit-and-run collision Monday night on Canton Street.
The collision report from Hopkinsville police says 29-year old Victoria White of Hopkinsville was attempting to turn left onto Richard from the northbound lane and noticed a vehicle that appeared to be parked on Canton.
That automobile then drove into her rear driver’s side door before fleeing the scene. White told police it seemed as though that driver waited until she turned to move.
Her passenger, 31-year old Darrod Simms of Hopkinsville, was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for back pain. White did not require a trip to the hospital.
The other vehicle is described as a white Chrysler PT Cruiser and it may have damage to the front.
